So before starting the test, the battery is at 100%. Let’s start the performance test by playing pubg and the initial temperature is 33. Graphics and frame rate are set to high by default, and these are the settings I’ll be playing on. Let’s see how the game performs.

So during the gameplay, there are no frame drops whatsoever, the overall gameplay is pretty smooth. Testing the temperatures which raised to a maximum of 40 which is fine.

Next, here we have Call of duty and these are the settings I’ll be playing on, again everything is maxed out, let’s see how the game performs, Again a flawless performance with consistent & smooth frame rate and checking the temperatures this time around it reached to a maximum of41 and in my opinion that’s a negligible amount of heat.

Looking at the battery percentage it’s at 81%, which is a decent drop for a phone with 4000mah battery and that’s after close to one and a half-hour of gameplay. So judging by that you can comfortably have long Gaming sessions. So in the midrange segment if you’re looking for a phone with great Gaming Performance it’s between Redmi Note 8 Pro and RealmeX2, but I guess most people will choose Realme X2 because it doesn’t have heating issues.

Let me know if you want me to make a Gaming comparison between Redmi Note 8 Pro & Realme X2.

Stay Safe, Stay Healthy.
